THE LANDMARK FOR KRANJI HERTIAGE TRAIL 9th November 2011

The Kranji Heritage Trail was conceived in 2010 when there was much talk by the government about preserving Singapore’s history in the form of heritage towns and Nyee Phoe is marked as one of the landmark for KRANJI HERTIAGE TRAIL. The Kranji countryside - rich in history, a source of food supply, and where the “kampong” spirit continues to thrive - is a bridge between the past and present. It is spearheaded by Kranji Countryside Association (KCA), sponsored by NTUC Fairprice Foundation Ltd and supported by the National Heritage Board. The Kranji Heritage Trail will be launched tomorrow (9.11.2011) at Yew Tee Mall and will be graced by Minister K Shamuugam. You will notice a nice signage that will be put up near to Frangipani Hut and this will mark a new milestone for Nyee Phoe as we will be part of Singapore’s Heritage. See More>>
