The Name of the "Three Friends"
Singapore, Shenzhen, and Nature.
The Canopy of Three Friends is a contemporary space themed around friendship, culture, and ecological care. Its name symbolizes the gathering and connection of Singapore, Shenzhen, and Nature under a simple, unified sanctuary.
The design draws inspiration from the "Three Friends of Winter" —the Pine, Bamboo, and Plum—icons of traditional Chinese culture. Just as these three plants remain resilient in the depths of winter, they symbolize the enduring spirit of constancy, integrity, and renewal.

Lightweight Structures:
Contemporary Spirit and Welcoming Spaces
Featuring a lightweight triangular metal structure, the garden evokes the ease of outdoor living. This open, friendly space serves as a hub for social interaction and community exchange.
Clean, sharp lines and a restrained structural expression grant the garden a distinct contemporary character, while maintaining a deep respect and resonance with the natural environment.

Realm of Nature
Authentic, Unadorned, and Believing.
A curved wooden bridge and stepping stones wind through the waterscape, complemented by wild, naturalistic planting. By eschewing formal topiary in favor of multi-stemmed trees and shrubs, the design—accented by a tapestry of grasses and delicate floral highlights—creates a sense of effortless tranquility.
